Oxfam wanted to highlight it's presence at London Fashion Week and circulated black and white branded chariots. Charity wanted to increase collections for their 'vintage / designer' boutiques based in cenral Londonin a sustainable way and to generate public interest.

During this years annual Freewheel
event,
branded
chariots and team distributed reflective arm wraps. Campaign was
aimed to communicate positive messages to emphasize Europes
efforts to reduce global warming.
The effort was supported by the European
Commission. Cycle in a traffic-free London for a day.

Dutch Marianne Thieme arrived in a green branded chariot to the world
premier of the film 'Meet the truth' in Leicester Square. The film
was hosted for the start of National Vegetarian Week and
it covers the important subject of mass meat production contributing
to climate change. Video

Chariots were on hand waiting at the finishing line for the London
Marathon runners, providing a ride to the much needed rest and refreshment
area. You can
raise money
by getting invloved in UK Youth's events programme.

Actress Joanna Lumley enjoyed a fabulous ride in a chariot. The
famous star charity's president Terry Waite officially opened
Emmaus' accommodation for previously homeless, in West Norwood.
The Emmaus branded chariots circulated in local area to attract
and ferry visitors to the afternoon event was open
to public, with free rickshaw rides, workshops and entertainment.

Sutton's winning theme for the New Years Parade was sustainable
tranport. The Mayor, Cllr Myfanwy Wallace, travelled in a chariot
throught central London, surrounded by
local cycling team. Colourfull spectacle was seen by crowds of about
half a million people. Sutton won a special prize raising money towards
Parkinson's Outreach.

Cafod campaigners held a 'dirty gold wedding' to raise awareness of
the dangers of dirty gold! A bride and groom led a rickshaw procession
from Charing Cross to Oxford Street in London to raise awareness of
the damage gold mining caused in poor countries. It brought 100 meter
signed gold chain petition to jewellery shops Goldsmith, Argos and
H Samuel.
